Heretic’s Call

Heretic. Charlie Kirk. The Great Prayer Experiment –

Kept me up all night, my thoughts were spent.

For what confuses is the youth’s deep plight,

Some say, “Make America Great Again,” let’s fight with might.

The world is changing, and so are we,

Born to live, and die to be free.

No longer do we simply conform,

No longer trust that that is the norm.

Religion, politics, systems and more,

All called into question, beliefs out the door.

Are we so naive to trust and believe,

History and stats, meant only to deceive?

Is this why they’re begging, seeking what’s right,

Hoping for something, a spark in the night?

Hoping for answers, for truth, for a chance,

Anything more than a fleeting glance.

I don’t know… Heretic, Charlie Kirk…

Kept me up all night, no place to lurk.

Deprived of rest, we’re all cut too deep,

Wounds of the world that refuse to sleep.

Religion’s not my forte, but I know,

This world’s in disarray, a troubling show.

Affirmative action, border control,

“Chosen denomination” a desperate role.

Pretend with all might, but in the end,

It’s only for affirmation we bend.

“Make America Great Again,” they said,

Or else, you leave with nothing— but white bread.
